A Spring Makeover...For My Camera

Recently I had been thinking about jazzing up my DSLR camera with a new strap. I decided to hop on Etsy to take a look at what was out there and I came across The Poppy Shoppe. The bright fun patterns used to make the strap covers quickly caught my eye and the lens cap pocket was an added bonus. What a lovely, yet practical feature. I can't tell you how many times I find myself frantically searching for my lens cap...now I just have to remember to use the pocket.

After browsing The Poppy Shoppe I didn't even bother looking anywhere else. I snatched up the adorable pattern below and within a few days it was in my mailbox (cutely packaged too, I might add). I couldn't be happier. If you have a friend or loved one that uses a DSLR, these straps are adorable and would make a great gift. The Poppy Shoppe even sells wristlet camera straps and key chains too.

Can Never Have Too Many Doodle Pants

My little one had her first Easter egg hunt today. While she was thrilled to run around looking for eggs, I was equally excited to dress her for the occasion. My favorite part of the outfit that I put together for today's hunt had to be the leggings by Doodle Pants. I was lucky enough to snag three different pairs on Zulily a few weeks ago for half price. And these arrived in the mail just in time for Easter!

Easter Scribbles

With Easter less than a week away I have my mind on sending out Easter cards to friends and family. I'm not a big fan of spending over $3 for store-bought cards, so lately I've decided to let my daughter be my card supplier. My 20 month old is in the scribbling phase with her artwork and I recently came across a pin on Pinterest showing wonderful ways to turn scribbling into cards. With a little help from me, my daughter sent out these wonderful cards to the special people in her life. Super easy for Mom, a lot of fun for a toddler, and complete joy for each lucky recipient.

Saying Goodbye to Double Dinners

Lately I feel like I'm making two separate meals each time our family sits down to eat. One for my husband and me, and another for our toddler. I came across a wonderful post on Parenting.com recommending a variety of two-in-one adult- and kid-friendly family dinner recipes. Best part is that they are easy to make too!

Easter Basket Filler Idea

Easter is just around the corner and I'm starting to think about Easter basket fillers. Since Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is a favorite around my home, this magnetic figure set will surely be a hit with my little one. They are sold out online, so hurry in to your local Disney store and pick one up today before they are going...going...gone!

Get That Look-Black Espadrilles

With the one year anniversary of the Royal Wedding just a few months away, I'm reminded of one of my favorite wardrobe choices by Kate Middleton. Pictured below is what she wore the day after the ceremony.

I'm a big fan of the entire look, but I'm especially fond of her shoes. The wedges by L.K. Bennett will run you over $200, so I've been on the hunt for something similar at a more reasonable price. While not identical to Kate's espadrilles, both Nine West and Via Spiga have good options.
